Der 1981 in Rostock geborene Gunnar Stiller begann seine musikalische Laufbahn 1999 an den heimischen Plattenspielern. Durch seine Ausbildung bei der Berliner Eventagentur No Ufos im Jahre 2002, erhielt er mit den hauseigenen Clubs Polar.tv und Sternradio die optimale Spielwiese, seinen damals noch von Deephouse, Breaks und Electro dominierten Style erstmals der Öffentlichkeit vorzustellen und auszufeilen. Inspiriert durch die Residents Steve Bug, DJ Clé, Woody und auch Matthias Tanzmann, entwickelte sich daraus schnell ein Sound, der jede Tanzfläche auszufüllen verstand. So kann man seinen musikalischen Stil heute als sehr kickenden und wunderbar groovenden Technohouse beschreiben, der sich auch gern mal in bis zu 10-stündigen Sets entfalten darf. 2004 gründete er mit seinen Homies das Künstlerkollektiv Edelmut, deren ausdauernde Sessions in der Bar25 oder dem Watergate den neuen Berliner DJ Nachwuchs markierten. Mittlerweile hat Gunnar in allen wichtigen Berliner Clubs seine Spuren hinterlassen und auch auf den großen Festivals wie SonneMondSterne oder auch Melt! gespielt. Inzwischen wird er auch international bis nach Südafrika, Dänemark, Italien, Österreich, Niederlande, Tschechien, Türkei, Schweiz oder auch Lettland gebucht und ist seit 2005 während der Sommermonate Resident DJ in der mittlerweile international ruhmreichen Bar25. Hinzu kommen die legendären HomeSweetHome Sessions bei denen er ebenfalls als Resident gesetzt ist. So spielte er zusammen mit Künstlern wie Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Carl Craig, Luciano und vielen weiteren. Seit Sommer 2009 ist er Teil des Labels Voltage Musique, auf welchem er seine erste EP „Heideberg“ releasen konnte. Heideberg stieg sofort in die Top 10 der deutschen Clubcharts ein. Darüber hinaus ist er seit November 09 auch vollwertiges Mitglied der Upon.You Crew Berlin.

Born in the sunny seaside town of Rostock, Germany in 1981 Gunnar Stiller was thrown onto into the lion’s den when his family moved to Berlin in the late 80’s. This move was to be a key point in shaping his career path and with the purchase of his well loved and now worn out decks in 1999 his musical adventure in to the world of djing began.
In 2002 whilst working as an event manager for Berlin based agency “No Ufos” he found himself in the heart of a perfect playground to develop his experience and style which was dominated by Deephouse, Breaks and Electro of that time.
Inspired by residents Steve Bug, Dj Che, Woody and Matthias Tanzmann he quickly developed his own sound, which filled every dancefloor and impressed every organiser who heard him.
In 2004 with his success and hunger for more he created the artist alliance „Edelmut“ with his Homies which quickly gained them notirioty for their “deathless sessions” in clubs such as Watergate and Bar 25, which earned him his monthly residency at world famous Bar 25. Furthermore he became resident at the legendary HomeSweetHome Sessions.
His sets now have developed stylistically into a unique sound, which he is known for. Deep in character, a diversified combination between techno and house with his unmistakably kicking funky bass lines, pushing the boundaries between genres and creating a dramatic musical landscape, which becomes evident when he plays his 10hr sets!!
As well as pursuing his dj career he has been working for the Loveparade Corporation as part of the music team since 2006, taking on the key role of organising the event, musical programme and performances for the Loveparade.
At present Gunnar is a key player in berlins new generation of upcoming dj's and producers. Playing alongside dj's like Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Luciano and many others.
Earning a good reputation he can be heard playing in most of Berlins legendary clubs such as Watergate, Arena Club, Bar 25, Tresor, Cookies, Maria, Sternradio to name but a few.
He regularly plays in clubs all over Germany such as Butan Club, Airport Würzburg, Fusion Club and Manga Club aswell as the big festivals in the summer including Sonnemondsterne and Melt.
He is part of the Berlin based booking agency Upon.You Booking/Mind The Crap and is earning recognition internationally getting bookings in South Africa, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Turkey, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland and Latvia.
In 2009 he started producing his own Music and joined Label Voltage Musique on which he released his first EP called "Heideberg". This EP directly
stepped into the top 10 of the german club charts.
Furthermore he has also become part of the Upon.You Crew where he released his next record called "Cubicle".
